Madlab’s Le Vigne project is featured in AM New York this morning (8/24/09) – pick up a copy or read it online: “Wine and design: MADLAB gives new shop a creative facelift”
We’ve also been featured in: The Architect’s Newspaper: “Open:Store”, Retail Design Diva: “Le Vigne Wine Shop: A Recession Ready Reality”, Inaudible Nonsense and BR&D
The current issue of Journal of Architectural Education is “Alternative Architectures | Alternative Practices” (Wiley Publishing, Volume 62, Issue 4), in which Petia’s book review of Did Someone Say Participate? (MIT Press, 2006) joins a spectral chorus of alternatypes who never doubted architecture’s elasticity. Bottom line is, more research-based practices! Thanks for reading.
Petia and Marissa will both have writings featured in the forthcoming Columbia University Press book Emerging Urban Futures: Land, Water, Infrastructure. Release anticipated Summer 2009.

Spurse’s work is featured in two new book releases this year, Experimental Geography: Radical Approaches to Landscape, Cartography and Urbanism, by Nato Thompson, and Useful Pictures, edited by Adelheid Mers. These works and accompanying writings get at ideas of collective human and nonhuman agency, the impossible divisions between nature and culture, and our capacities to activate new circuits of engagement.
