Rocking Horse Cafe

This seasoned café in Chelsea’s restaurant district was reworked to add more seating area and utilize its forgotten basement. Along with more space, repainting walls and adding grids, as seen in the black steelwork wall and shelves behind the bar, added structure and threaded the dining areas together to improve circulation. With a garage door style window out front, this restaurant can have a sleek front façade or be open in warmer weather to invite people and breezes within. Photos courtesy of Kiss + Cathkart.
